DLK Signature Series

A modern, adaptable, tiny house that lives large — with clean lines, clever spatial planning, and effortless indoor-outdoor living that embraces its beautiful setting.

THE VISION
Inspired by the peaceful shores of Lake Whatcom, I set out to create a space that feels bright, spacious, and welcoming — despite its modest footprint. I designed this tiny home retreat as a fresh, contemporary take on the traditional cabin.

The Whatcom explores how thoughtful design can make a small footprint feel expansive, livable, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Strategically placed windows and expansive sliding glass doors flood the interior with natural light, blurring the line between indoors and out. Custom built-ins, including a cozy window bench and integrated storage, enhance both functionality and comfort.

Outside, a covered deck serves as a natural extension of the living area — perfect for lounging, dining, or simply soaking in the surrounding views. The result is a thoughtfully executed modern house where every element prioritizes simplicity, livability, and the joy of living in harmony with the landscape.
