David L King, Owner
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, David comes from a family of custom builders and designers. After graduating from the University of Washington’s School of Architecture in 2000, David gained hands on experience working as a carpenter on custom homes. His skills were further honed during his sixteen years at Stuart Silk Architects (now Silk Cavassa Marchetti Architecture) where he designed custom homes of varying styles, overseeing projects from concept to completion.
David founded DLK Design in 2023, seeking to bring a client-centered, solutions-oriented approach to residential design. He understands that a smooth, enjoyable design and construction process requires clear, consistent communication and an open mind. He is a team player and loves collaborating with homeowners, builders, and subcontractors to solve design challenges to create beautiful, inspired, highly livable homes.
