Dave King is knowledgeable, creative, and most importantly, skilled at listening and translating a client's vision (or lack of vision). For our project, Dave took a limited budget, small footprint, and lengthy wish list and designed a home that maximizes both functionality and beauty. Dave's responsiveness and respect for ideas and questions makes him a pleasure to work with. 'Impossible' appears not to be in his vocabulary!

David is a very patient and kind professional, and it is nice to work with him. I am an extremely busy person, and he would accommodate my schedule when we had to meet. He also gives me advice on things that I, as a non-professional in this field, am not aware of. He has an acute perception of things that can be taken advantage of when creating a light-filled place in Pacific Northwest. When I was concerned about the cost, he pointed out places where I could cut the cost and things that are worth having now as they would cost more when I want them later. The end design came out to be admired by everyone I know. Their comment: "Fabulous!"
We hired Dave King for our kitchen and great room remodel. He is a great listener and collaborator, and designed a beautiful, functional kitchen with abundant natural light and the clean lines we were seeking. We love the finished product and are often asked who we worked with. We would absolutely use Dave in the future.

He’s had the privilege of working on some of the most elite homes in the Pacific Northwest and this experience and passion for excellence show up in each of his designs. Dave is great! He is the only architect I would ever use to work on my house. He is not your typical architect. He is willing to give ideas to help save money but still give great design and style.
