Located on a beautifully landscaped, sunny Mercer Island lot, this house had loads of potential. But the kitchen and family room were cramped and outdated with little connection to the lovely back terrace and yard. The addition of an oversized slider and large skylights not only brighten the space significantly, but allow for an inside / outside connection the house was calling for. We kept the lines clean and modern and kept a very open feeling in the kitchen. New cabinetry was also added in the family room, unifying the spaces nicely.
