An independent studio with a simple idea
Good design should be available to the businesses that keep our towns running, not only to big brands with big budgets.
Started at a kitchen table in Covington
DLK Design was founded by Davontae Hardeman after years of designing for local shops, churches and friends who needed a better website but could not afford a big agency. What began as side projects became a full-time studio.
Today we are a small, focused team of designers and a developer, working from Covington, Georgia with clients across the United States. We still work the way we started: directly with owners, honestly, and with a lot of care for the details.

Davontae leads every project personally, from the first call to launch. He focuses on brand strategy, visual identity and making sure each project actually moves the needle for the business.
What we believe
Honesty first
Fixed prices, realistic dates and straight answers, even when it is not what you hoped to hear.
Craft over templates
Every layout is designed for your business. We never resell the same theme with a new logo.
Built to last
Clean code, accessible design and files you own forever.
Giving back locally
Each year we take on one pro bono project for a Newton County nonprofit and mentor students interested in design careers.
